A specialist translation should help readers locate information and understand it in context. Tân Việt supports businesses, project teams and publishers in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and nationwide. We clarify the intended use, audience, languages and delivery format before quoting so the output serves the actual task.

Document scope

Materials include project and equipment documentation, operating and maintenance manuals, catalogues, training and technology-transfer files, specialist reports, annotated drawings, MSDS/SDS, books and website content. Clients must have the rights needed to translate and use books. Website translation, market-specific editing and implementation in a content system are separate scopes; none should be assumed to include the others.

Quality checks and important distinctions

Terminology is agreed against reference documents, equipment codes and the client's internal naming. Figures, units, tables, notes and cross-references belong in the checking plan. For MSDS/SDS, translators follow the supplied version and preserve substance identifiers, warnings and supplier information. Translation does not replace a safety assessment or certify compliance in every destination market. Illegible, missing or contradictory content is queried rather than guessed.

Formats and source preparation

Discuss Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, scans, HTML, JSON and typeset files with us. Feasibility is confirmed after reviewing samples. Scans may need OCR and character checking; wide tables, formulae, illustrations and unusual fonts need layout work. For websites and structured data, protect tags, variables, keys and paths while translating only the agreed content. Specify whether editable files and final publication files are both required.

Our workflow

1. Our workflow

Share the document type, purpose, languages, approximate volume and representative pages through an appropriate channel.

2. Our workflow

Agree specialist staffing, terminology, formats, schedule, confidentiality and acceptance criteria; a sample section can be approved before a long assignment.

3. Our workflow

Translate and review, consolidate queries for the technical contact and track source changes by version.

4. Our workflow

Deliver the checked files within scope, review feedback and correct translation errors; new source content or additions are separately confirmed.

A practical preparation example

Illustrative scenario: a factory has a 180-page manual and an Excel parts list. One component has two names across chapters. The team agrees a glossary with the engineer, checks part codes, translates a sample chapter and checks the contents page after layout. A website can similarly be tested on a few pages and interface strings to identify overflowing buttons or altered variables. These are preparation examples, not claims about completed client projects.

Our commitments

Tân Việt presents more than 15 years of experience and puts preparation at the centre of quality. We discuss content in advance, propose suitable personnel and provide relevant experience and qualification information when needed. Files are confidential and shared only with assigned staff. Reported translation errors are reviewed and corrected within the agreement; unsuitable staffing can be adjusted or replaced under agreed conditions. Delivery times and layout fidelity are confirmed after inspecting the source.

Quotation and preparation advice

Send samples, document type, approximate word or page count, languages, deadline and output format. Pricing depends on the field, source quality, layout and review requirements. Editable originals are preferable to scans. Use one query contact and identify the latest version. Sensitive files can follow after agreeing an NDA and transfer channel.

Frequently asked questions

Can a long project be delivered in stages?

Agree chapters or document groups with a shared glossary and change process so terminology remains consistent.

Will formatting be identical?

The attainable layout is confirmed after inspecting originals. Target text may expand, and graphics, tables and fonts require separate checks.

Does translating an SDS certify chemical safety?

No. Translation conveys the source; preparation, safety assessment and acceptance require the relevant responsible specialists.
